Review: Catrice Absolute Eye Colour Mono

Hello everyone! Back with another review today and it's going to be on two eyeshadows from Catrice! They are the Absolute Eye Colour Mono. These eyeshadows can be purchased at Paloma for $4.90 BND each. These eyeshadows come in a large variety of shades ranging from matte to shimmery and bright to dark colours. They come packaged in a hard, clear plastic; very similar to their Defining Blushes. The ones that I have are 350 Starlight Expresso and 450 Oh, It's Toffeeful!

Left: Starlight Expresso, Right: Oh, It's Toffeeful!

Starting off with Starlight Expresso, this eyeshadow is a taupe; a brown with hints of grey. The shadow feels very smooth and buttery but tends to have a bit of fall out when blending.

Oh, It's Toffeeful on the other hand, is a champagne gold shade which is very shimmery and flattering on the eyes. For this shadow, there was no problem with fallout.

Both of these eyeshadows are very pigmented, smooth and easy to blend out. These shadows are very long-lasting when used with a primer underneath but I'm not sure how long they can last without creasing if no primer was applied because I always use primer.

Below are photos of the eye shadows swatched. The first photo is the eye shadows on their own and the second one is with primer.

No primer applied. Top: Oh! It's Toffeeful. Bottom: Starlight Expresso.

With primer. Top: Oh! It's Toffeeful. Bottom: Starlight Expresso.

Overall, I have to say that these shadows are very high-quality given the price range and they are definitely worth a try! Thanks for reading, everyone!
